So you're considering fostering or adopting? That's great - we always need caring, knowledgeable and most importantly, loving families and homes for our rescue pugs.
Fostering and adopting require commitment. Many dogs come with emotional or physical health conditions so it's important you're ready to care for a pug that has extra requirements.

1. Complete the application form

2. Pay £10 admin fee
Please do so via PayPal to manchesterpugwelfare@aol.com with your name and admin fee as the reference (this is unfortunately a necessary step to prevent time wasters)
3. Wait for us to contact you
We'll be in touch to arrange a home visit and start the next steps. Please note during busy periods it may take up to 8 weeks for your application to be processed.
If adopting, upon rehoming one of our beautiful dogs, a re-homing fee applies based on the age of the dog:
Under 2 - £500
Over 2, up to 4 - £400
Over 4, up to 6 - £350
Over 6 up to 8 - £300
Over 8 - £200
Please note: As a small charity operating locally, we primarily adopt and foster pugs in Greater Manchester areas, however, if you live elsewhere and would be willing to travel to Manchester, we'd still love to hear from you!
If you would like to support our pugs in other ways, we greatly appreciate all donations, fundraising and even gifts that we can use in raffles as prizes. All donations and fundraising is used in its entirety to support the running of the charity, and our rescued, fostered and adopted pugs.
